Re: Need help on translating CS ratio table

1.02% means the differences between front and rear only. The real cs % based ratio is the 2.1

Re: Need help on translating CS ratio table

The front gearing is front tire ratio and same goes for rear gearings. the differences is comparison in how much ratio differences it has between front and rear. CS percentage is how much your rear tire spins, 2.1% = 210% actually, means that, front tire do 1 full spin, rear tire did 2 1/10th turn ...

Re: Need help on translating CS ratio table

I'm not very sure for mugen seiki, but I'll just try to help you with my current knowledge I got... this calculator helps a lot for 3 belt chassis systems a lot in order to figure out their cs ratio... for 2 belt systems, just put both numbers in the center pulleys (24T and 19T) into 1T or same figu...

Re: Help me choose a chassis

SSG, from my own opinion though, SSG is just a silver CF edition, not much differences between the ordinary CF. if you compared between teh-r31 and SD, I'd prefer SD, but if compared with ota-r31 and SD, i'd say ota-r31 though, here's some notes about them mr4tc-sd type b everything is stock, c-hub,...

Re: Yokomo Carbon Drift Package, 2.01

owh... do you use weight balance measurement tools? One of my method to determine balance was try to drift on tiles, let it spin without the help of steering while on full throttle and see which one is over/understeered. Thanks for your info so far, I will try to find my own method to balance the we...

Re: Yokomo Carbon Drift Package, 2.01

Do you use Ni-MH batter or LiPO battery? I used Ni-MH, and recently tried my car, found out my car balance between left and right were off, more weight on the battery side. Do you encounter any drift inconsistencies like its behavior when drifting left and right, like oversteered and understeered sl...

Re: Yokomo Carbon Drift Package, 2.01

I want to ask a little bit about your setting in the above, is it a full cs drifting, in a way of when doing a donut drift around 1-2 meter radius, you just control the throttle once initiated the drift?

Re: Yokomo Carbon Drift Package, 2.01

Hi there,

I'd like to see video of you drifting your cs drift machine if there's any, I'm interested to see that settings on top used on track.

Great machines by the way.

Re: Question about shocks

I normally use springs to tune the suspension first, softer for more grip and harder for less, and then fine tune by adjusting the shock positions. I stand up the shock to reduce grip or lay it down for more grip. oooh... Then when you used the 67% cs on your yokomo, does it really spin out if you ...

Re: Question about shocks

if You can change your rear shock position to more upright that will do something. i haven't ran on bigger space yet. Rear shock position to be more vertical? now I'm getting confused, other said make them laid down for rear, more upright for front. Ordered silicone shock oil #200 and now waiting f...

Re: Question about shocks

Have you tried on larger space or should go for higher ratio then? Tried several settings, with front camber -10, caster 7', serpent 45w (for now), stainless steel color spring, seems like still no full cs when drifting, i could go for a larger size, a size of living room, but even though at that si...

Re: Question about shocks

I currently struggling to achieve a full cs setup and if possible, achieve full cs like stage d-like found in youtube, I'm not sure whether it's my shock or my gearing or the place I play is too small

Re: Question about shocks

Thanks a lot for the set up theory, although I've been into this for quite a long time, I still need to know more about setups, another question, Would it be okay if I pair up 200 oil with stainless steel color spring?

Question about shocks

Hi, I wanted to ask regarding the silicone shock oil viscosity and how it will affect our cs drift setups. Right now I'm using serpent 45W=1400cst because I don't know much about shock oil that much especially the differences in cst/cts and W/WT depending on the brand, along with default stainless c...

Re: CS Ratio/ FDR's/ Overdriver Percentage Calculator

I wanna know something quite crucial over here, do we calculate the ratio with cs difference ratio or just the rear ratio? I got a lot of words that I just had to calculate with the rear ratio
