Re: TC-FD steering mods WIP
New and I proved design now available. New design provides more belt clearance as well as kingpin bushings on the bellcrank pivots which ensures smooth, wear free movement. http://i21.photobucket.com/albums/b252/glorystomper/858D5AC9-056E-4142-90A0-8AF212EE5756_zpskuzgjybv.jpg Still only $25 USD shi...

Re: TC-FD steering mods WIP
UPDATE: I apologize to everyone who has PM'ed over the last few months with no reply. I had gotten out of the drift scene and kinda lost interest in having these made. HOWEVER, I have recently updated the design to incorporate bell crank bushings, as well as providing more belt clearance as some peo...

$219 is the cheapest you will find that radio from a reputable online retailer. You can find them on eBay for a little cheaper (i think last I saw was $209, but they come without a servo. most of those factory supplied servos are crap anyhow. I absolutely love the MT4. Only down side are rx's are pr...

Re: Tatsuken ashi suspensions
The reason that setup changes the tire's camber angles during steering movement is due to the KPI. Instead of the tire steering arc roating over a vertical plane (relative to the tire) it is now rotating around an angled plane (relative to the tire) On a KPI setup, imagine a + drawn over the wheel (...

Re: Tatsuken ashi suspensions
Easiest way to describe the difference between camber and KPI is that camber will always be measure at the wheel, and KPI is measured at , well, the king Pin. Camber affects the vehicles tire contact patch during driving. Suspension geometry can either increase or decrease Camber to allow for more o...

Re: TC-FD steering mods WIP
I broke my steering rack :( but modified it to fit with the stock steering system...... I guess drilling the holes bigger for the flange bearing to fit thinned out the integrity. Well, I have another batch en route from the machinist and expect them in hand next week, so if you need a replacement, ...

Re: TC-FD steering mods WIP
Let me know how the durability is with the bearings installed. I had originally thought there would be inssuficient material around the bearings to hold up to repetitive crashes. If it lasts, I may make a running change and just have them cut to accept the bearings.

Re: Steering Chatter HELP
Does both the inside and outisde wheel chatter at the same time? Or is it Just the inside wheel? If it's just the inside wheel, it's most likely a maxed out cvd. If it's both, it could be many things Chatter is typically due to dry (unlubed) cvd or a cvd that is maxed out. My overdose cvd have suffi...

I'm interested in getting one :) Laso, I was wondering what prompted you to change the material from Aluminum to Carbon Fiber? Thanks in...
