If you want all the upgrades Tamiya gets expensive fast because more plastic to replace Yokomo has less you need to upgrade so probably cheaper in the long run.There are alot of other options out there than those 2 but really depends on how much you want to spend

Have you tried 0 toe in the front or slightly + toe ? My VDF was slightly toed in after a rushed adjustment and once i set it back to 0 or slightly + toe i felt an improvement. I'm running mine with softer suspension in the front than the rear and finds it helps with weight shift I have found the VD...

Ok thanks Valentin if you think that is fine i will stick with that setting for now.I just don't want to kill any of my lipo's
I would still like to know how to set it higher if anyone knows be cause it will annoy me until i know how to set it haha

Ok need a little help just got my keyence set up running and cant find on the TAO where to set the lipo cut off. I get to the COV screen but cant see how to set for lipo in the manual it says these cut offs i have pasted bellow can be set but cant see the option to do so on the TAO can be set Ni-cd ...

I used the eagle kit on my VDf for ages with no trouble with shaft wear for over a year then i went to a front one way and used a rc square VDF lay shaft with the extra notch for an alloy pulley

Thanks for the tips guys,I've messed with the controller settings,taken some preload off the front springs,wound a little more preload on the rear and laid the rears down a little seems to have helped,if i drive more aggressively the less i notice it now.As far as i see i have done as much as i can ...

Straightening when braking

Ok so i'm have this problem with my VDF straightening out when braking, It has a front one way that works fine so you would assume this would act as a hand break affect. it will lock the rears as it should but then then it just straightens up.Is this a common problem or should i just learn to drive ...

How you like the diamond cut tiresOn asphalt Yeah they seem ok i just stick with them because they are about a medium compound, I have some softer spice tyre but they are way too grippy and can barely hold a slide and harder tyres i can't hold enough speed, 98% of drifters where im from are still 5...

really keen to see what this chassis is like,I was looking to get another chassis to build and was looking at the yokomo DRB or DIB but since my previous cars have been Tamiya i would love to get another Tamiya chassis hopefully this will be good!

as far as i can tell its real and not a re-release they are on banzai hobby but not in stock with no info or pic so i guess they are comming some japanese sites have a little info but its hard to work out with translation,no pics anywhere but it seems it is a new or updated design to the VDF
