Re: my yokomo DIB version rs

i run the shorty towards the rear so i could ditch the esc tray and tuck all the electronics under the upper deck. its the only way ive ever ran it so i cant compare it to full size lipo, or shorty toward the front, but it seems a bit twitchy and light in the rear. ide run full size first, see how i...

Tamiya 240z

Tamiya 240z. Pactra clear red w/ silver base. Speed way pal overfenders. Speed way pal Pana wheels 10mm rear, 7mm front wrapped in Vertex 02 tires (best tires ever!!!!). ABC mirrors. Pretty basic build. Just looks nice from the color. This will be a runner, not a shelf queen. http://imageshack.us/a/...

Re: Street Jam Hilux

those look sweet. needs mirrors. street jam makes perfect mirrors for these trucks. u should use the decals it came with for the grill. give it more depth. if you find yourself frustrated with the fender clearance (especially up front) i shaved off like 2mm off mine and it really helped and is barel...

Re: Yokomo DP/type-c Frankenstein setup?

im not familiar with those cvd's or special bellcrank, but my DP is running the same caster blocks and steering arms, some higher than stock angle cvd's (i dont remember what they are atm) and my problem at the moment is wheels hitting the shocks. my "bell crank" assembly is totally differ...

Re: VDF by zviliux

as far as the shafts i recomend these:
http://banzaihobby.com/TN-Racing-TN-645
theyre for the DRB but im sure they will work just fine on a VDF. ive had both chassis, so....

i have experience with both and the suzuki shafts are inferior, and more expensive.

Re: yokomo weights, how much do they weigh?

they seem a bit expensive. i would just go to the tackle shop and buy some fishing weights. toss those into the bumper. or go to a tire shop. ask them if you can score some of the stick on weights they use for the higher end wheels.

Re: sanwa/spektrum bind

bitchin. i went for it. i think im gonna be real happy with my choice. a huge plus to this is the space on the dib is a bit limited and a regular size reciever would hang off a bit so this will be protected a bit more also.

hmmm. anybody have experience with the micro recievers? im eyeballing the spektrum sr3500. wondering if its gonna be like the sr3100's, but smaller, or if theres a catch, or something i dont know. im assuming theyre compatible with all 2.4 spektrum transmitters atm. i havnt researched that yet.

i run that same setup on 2 of my chassis. not bad. the programming card is user friendly. i feel like i paid less though. i would avoid buying from R2. find a different vendor.
