Re: Ta03F CS

I have just read this whole thread, found some interesting stuff. I have been running my TA03F using the MST plastic 11,12,13t pulleys for some time and they fit perfectly when also using the Armid fibre belts. I run the 16t front and 12t MST on the rear, I also have the Xray 20t that can be modifie...

Re: R31-16FM First run

Cheers artica/blueststar4u Every since starting drifting I have always admired the TEH-R31 chassis and with the help of the youtube vids from you and your friends I have developed my chassis to majority of your specs. As I also own a Tamiya TA03F and love it's front mount chassis setup for it's smoo...

Or this one? http://www.nitrorcx.com/mad-nh3104.html Sweet man thanks for showing me these, I would try this one for sure as it is only $9 and not to much to waste if it doesn't work/fit. The mod that I did is still working sweet and I use my car daily. The one above looks to fit straight in but fo...

Re: HSP ONE WAY MOD

Ya post away

I'm also still perfecting everything with my HSP chassis and without factory Hop-up parts available I'm doing the best I can to MOD/improve it.

There will be things that I have missed, so the more input and feed back the better off everyone will be with these chassis. 8)

Ok sorry if I wasn't clear enough does this help a little more In the photo that showed the two shafts (old original and new) it shows an overall length of the new shaft at 47.5mm. HSP CS MOD using YOKOMO GEARS

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=zC6Bl06Mh_U Ok so I went and brought a YOKOMO FCD 2.0 to try and get my HSP FlyingFish counter steerings. The reason for buying the Yokomo part was 1) HSP has no upgrades and 2) I'd seen it done on you tube, so without even knowing how I was going to install it I orde...

Re: HSP FlyingFish steering upgrade FINISHED

Hey guys just to let you know I have just finished a CS mod on the HSP, I used the Yokomo FCD 2.0. This ended up giving me 2.48 CS 148% which was so crazy I couldn't control it at any point. I will be buying the Yokomo FCD 1.3 that should result in a 1.61 CS ratio (61%) which should handle alot bett...

Re: HSP FlyingFish steering upgrade FINISHED

Ok found this link which helped me understand the advantages and disadvantages of Ackerman a little more. So if I got this right More Ackerman = smoother steering and less tyre drag, Less Ackerman = quicker steering response but some tyre drag. With RC drifting and such harder tyres would less acker...

Re: HSP FlyingFish steering upgrade FINISHED

nice steering angle man but you still have some ackerman issues which is causing unparallel steering Ok Iam a little knew to this but thought that ackerman (inside wheel turning a tighter angle) was a good thing that helps a tighter turning circle. Why does everyone try to create zero ackerman???? ...

Re: HSP (FlyingFish) Sterring Mod - First attempt

Thanks for the replies and help. Yes, you are correct the with the current angle the arm just hits the inside of the front diff case. So on the next arms I make I will adjust this and also make them slightly closer to the steering hub (asTheSCOrpionKing said) to get more throw. I also had to make so...

Re: Question for Yokomo Shaft Driven owners

OK when I get the shaft I will. My first thing I'm doing is a steering mod on the HSP (in steering mod sec), I also have a yokomo FCD 2.0 that I want to try and fit in the rear diff for 100% CS (i believe it's possible). I am just waiting on parts from OS and when they all arrive, into the workshop ...
