Re: GenkiRF's Yokomo DIB
I liked the black too... but I have since removed it and went back to SSG. I have plans to go to black carbon in the future again though :D For now, I decided to Frankenstein together a rear active camber link setup for the car. I'm still in the middle of tuning the setup with the link setup... http...

Re: DIB advice
Treating the deck with rubbing alcohol will clean it of any leftover residue from the manufacturer, and dirt and oils from your hands from touching it. This will allow the 3m protection film to adhere a lot better. The soapy water part can be skipped since the part is so small, just take your time w...

Re: DIB advice
The DIB doesn't come with counter steer, the easiest way to cs it is by buying the Yokomo FCD gear set for the DIB. The FCD kits come in either 1.3, 1.5, 1.8 and 2.0cs ratios. As far as percent, it's basically 30%, 50%, 80%, and 100%. As for increasing the steering angle, you can shave the stock c-h...

The Kawada tires are "too small" to give you a stretched tire look, with the lip of the rim exposed. Push the tires flush to the back of the rim, and leave the outer lip of the rim exposed. Liking the colour choice too, can't wait to see it finished up.

I just received my shell, and just looking at it(portion of overspray film removed), it looks to have that same "strange" surface. Definitely doesn't look completely smooth, but aside from that it looks great. Looking forward to the finished product, that chrome finish is going to pop in t...

Ahhh, so the front lip and rear valence will be made available by RC Art? That makes a lot more sense as to why it has no rear valence and why the body line went straight down haha... my bad

Re: Spirant 180SX, ABC Hobby 180SX
The body line for the font bumper is correct, but it's not supposed to go all the way into the lip as that is a 1 piece item. The front bumper is a 3 piece item, he's missing the line for the side pods, but even on 1:1 cars its hard to make out that it's a separate piece from the fender. The skirts ...

Re: "The devil drift" r2chassis
I've heard a lot of bad stuff about the Yokomo Type-C clone, I'd stay away from it. The 3Racing Sakura D3 seems to be a good car if you are on a budget though. Add front 1-way and a belt tensioner and it's not too bad. I'd choose that over this if I was on a tighter budget.
