Make some out of daddy bag Josh. Make them the same size as the plastic is so soft size wouldnt make alot of difference. It works so well as almost everyone that has done the mod love it.

Re: VDF

I have changed a few things in red. I got some street jam front arms and strreing bits aswell as cvd's. I am running with 7deg caster and 9deg camber up front and its sweet, needs a little fine tuning to my liking but overall a good change indeed. playing around with the steering to get more lock an...

Yeah inner hole on the arm and the outer hole on the shock mount. I have just fitted street jam R31 frontend on my vdf and the fronts are now vertical too. very smooth and nice to slide.

Re: Kid's R31 by Street Jam

I run 0 rear aswell as a few guys here in tassie works for us. We run soft and that works too. Main reason I went 0 toe was it looks sh** on the shells but it turned out to handle very nice for me. I find stood up has a better feel. I have also done the damper rebound mod in the rears too. Its all a...

Re: Kid's R31 by Street Jam

Just my opinion but id say, stand up your rear shocks use 30wt oil and 3 hole pistons all round, get 6mm ride height with soft springs front and rear. And 0 toe in on the rear will help to stop the straightening. As for angle get more % I find over 100% is where you wanna be.

Looking good i agree red wheels look the best on it. And pinka wip stands for work in progress and he isn't finished the shell so technically it is a wip. Keep up the good work man and maybe do some ps31 smoke on the windows?

Re: TA05 parallel mod

I have looked at the VDF but yeah not much room. I dont think it is worth doing as the vdf has no akerman any way its just at full lock there is some slopy ness from the angle of the links etc. I have put small 2-3mm peices of fuel tube between ball and rod ends and ti has worked a treat in getting ...

Re: Hamster82's Secret DIY Shock dampers !!!!!!!!!!

It slows the rebound of the shock which makes it less likely to shoot back in the opposite direction. Its hard to explain just try it and you will see what we are on about.
