Re: Streetjam OTA-Zeon Mark III (Full Bling!)

No, it doesn't. It will take Yokomo cs gears, if you buy the sidewinder cs kit from west mountain shop.

Re: Streetjam OTA-Zeon Mark III (Full Bling!)

Very true. I kinda like the underdriven stability effect on the car. Only problem, I used to run 1.9, this takes some time to get used to.

Re: Automatix' TA06 pro Overdose edition

I've been watching this car for some time, it seems to perform really well. Does the rear motor weight overthrows from time to time?

<3 those Overdose hop ups. :P

Yup true. I've been hunting these down for ages. My local hobby store brought in a limited stock of 10 units, I quickly snapped up one set.

Re: Streetjam OTA-Zeon Mark III (Full Bling!)

Thanks for your report - now I know which CS set I can order for my Zeon |O| Have the Yokomo Kit here, but needs to much modification and I wanted a clean solution for my red beast  Do take note you have to file off the shaft end about 2-3mm off to fit it nicely. Also, file the connecting rod ...

Streetjam OTA-Zeon Mark III (Full Bling!)

Hey, Its been a long time since I last updated my Square TA05 Type S Setup thread, ever since then, that car has gone through the whole of 2011, gaining me multiple trophies in local competitions, though i missed the Yokomo International Drift Meet 2011. I have since retired the Square TA05, a...

Re: Streetjam OTA-Zeon

Yup. I''m also aware of Eagle Racing making counter steer ready spools for the TB03 VDS. It looks very attractive, and I already have a TB03 I use previously for AWD Drifting a couple of years back. I do want to try a different brand too for challenge, as my chassis have been mainly Tamiya. I do loo...

Streetjam OTA-Zeon

Hey, Since lately, I have kinda finished up my setup on my Square TA05 Type S. So what happened was that i thought about trying to try something new. Namely, a front-motor shaft driven chassis. One local hobby store has obtained Streetjam distributorship. Numerous Yokomo distributors are present loc...

Yup. Was tired of trying to print a nice Japan plate, ended up pixelated everytime, so i just stuck the provided sticker on. Now it has become a basher shell though.

Re: Square TA05 Conversion Type S

What i did was to shift the tensioner up to the second column, which is the upper one. For me, i couldn't stuff the 22T into the mounts, so i swapped the front diff pulley for a 40T. There is actually no way to fit a pulley larger than 22T. Since these are the design flaws of front motor mount chass...

Square TA05 Conversion Type S

Hi, (13/8/2010) After Months of testing i have my settings currently set at this. The Chassis looks extremely beautiful to me. To be honest, i have copied initially Driftjay's setup, and tweaked it from there, to get what i have today. (6/6/2011) Revised Setup in conjunction with hamster82's rebound...
