How to Measure Belts

Belts are identified in 2 different ways.By a number of teeth or by the length of the belt. For example, a 60t belt can be classified as 60t or S3M 180. They are exactly the same, just 2 different names. 60t stands for 60 teeth. S3M 180 is the pitch and length of the belt. So the pitch is 3mm and th...

That's the one that Fijon made a while ago. R2 has finally copied it.

And here is a camber gauge. Print this in 1:1 scale when printing. Or you can CNC/etc your own!

Do you have a spare centre shaft for the Yokomo BD? How much would it cost including postage to Australia? Oh, and with those D like brushed motors, compared to brushless motors, how good are they? Im sorry, but I have to post here. I cannot send you a PM for some reason. And When I sign in, Im alwa...

Re: My new enRoute JXR003 chassis incredibly chassis from Japan.

This chassis actually doesn't look too bad. The SSG is like the one on Yokomo SD SSG versions. And it doesn't look like the Fijon kits anymore. But for it's price, it may be a bit much. $350 for a half clone kit is a bit dear. And Willy, Saitama is where Takumi races Wataru. NA 86 against turbo/supe...

Re: HOW TO: Get More Steering Without any Steering Mods

That the maximum steering will still be limited by physical means is obvious. - What is interesting however is hacking the remote control  . - Which brings me to the question, how did you do that? - A tutorial would be nice ^^. ... Re: HOW TO: Get More Steering Without any Steering Mods

Well the servo could strip, but I only use metal gear ones. Or if you use a plastic servo horn, that can snap. If you're using an alloy horn then that would bend.

It's useful as you can reach maximum lock. Then you can tone down the EPA so the servo only needs to move to the maximum steering angle.

HOW TO: Get More Steering Without any Steering Mods

The easiest way to get maximum steering without any mods to your chassis is by making you EPA(end point adjustment) go past 100%. Ive reprogrammed my GT3B to have a max of 200% EPA. So I can gget double the servo travel than normal. But with this much, there will be steering blockers etc, so you wil...

Reprogramming the GT3B

Reprogramming the GT3B First thing is that youll need a STM8S board which costs about $15. Buy it from here: http://au.element14.com/stmicroelectronics/stm8s-discovery/kit-development-stm8s-w-debugger/dp/1775251 Its the only place in Australia that has them locally. http://i1023.photobucket.com/albu...

Gonna be a bit hard. I think its a gearbox rear, so gotta reverse all of the gears etc in tthere. And theere wont be any space for a steering rack, etc.

Looks real ugly this time.

Re: Yokomo DRB SSG

Wow another one. Im thinking of also getting the DRB in the future maybe a few months. But not the SSG version, it'll be the normal blue and black one. Do a build thread of just the motor mount area. Oh and don't forget which way the bulkheads face and where the pulleys go on the spool. Lol
