Re: Rear end spin out..

I did have a gyro on it but I took it back off. It did make it run better and easier but it still spun out a little bit and I would rather fix the spin out problems without the gyro before adding the gyro. I've done several things, I've rebuilt steering rack to where I'm getting i think 50 or 60 deg...

Rear end spin out..

I have a TC4 that I converted to rear wheel drive and the back end keeps spinning out. I tried adding weight to the front, then adding weight to the back. I think that possibly what happened is that when I tried to lock the rear diff it still slips that may be why its spinning ou? Does anybody else ...

Re: Weight distribution

There's a tool for that. http://www.rceasy.com/wp-content/blogs.dir/1/files/2012/02/h107880a.jpg Hey Stalwart. I kinda did this wit small plastic scraps. I balanced everything on the intersection of the point of all 4 contacts with the road (The tires). It was really tricky. Also, knowing that the ...

Weight distribution

I've asked around about how to check and balance the weight distribution of your car. I tried to balance the car on the middle, but that was pretty inaccurate. I tried 4 food scales and something weird happened that I didn't expect. Adjusting the pressure loaded on the springs distributed the weight...

Re: Tire Mods?

I went ahead and made a video of the problem I'm having. Any suggestions for tires or anything else would be appreciated, but I definitely don't think the R31-RWD looks right driving, although it has the wheels and tires that came with the chassis mounted. The weight is balanced slightly heavier on ...

Tire Mods?

Does anyone do any modifications to their tires to affect the grip? I have heard of (and tried) wrapping black electrical/friction tape around the tire. I have also heard of putting notches in the front tires to give more bite. I thought of using that sandpaper grip tape, like on skate boards, but t...
