Re: 3 Racing Sakura CS Drift Sport Prototype

They seem to be keeping a tight lip about this chassis.... Back in April this was just a prototype, pretty sure its was just to get something out for Spring Hobby Shows. Perhaps July or August release date?

Re: ta05 vs ta05v2 conversion kits

The hinge pins are different length from V1 to V2, not sure if the new suspension/toe blocks will fix that, might be something to consider :)

The 20T is 2 Xray t2 20t pullies glued together then modified to fit the stock ta03pully holder.
The belt is a modellanhanger belt, which is same as a aramid belt.

Re: Ta03F CS

oh thought you were asking for CS pulley, anyways you are right, 20T in the front, 12T in the rear for 1.66. Worth CSing the TA03RS acctually, it has become quite fun :)

Re: Ta03F CS

if you get the MST CS gears kit, it comes with a 11T 12T and 13T with a 5mm center bore. I have managed to CS a TA03RS to 1.66 with a 12T. Works great :)

Re: Drift Package Help

more caster angle will give you slightly more steering angle. The real problem lies in the universal drive shafts. After you shaved the caster hub down, the swing shaft can now contact the axle cup. That will cause the shaking/chatter you speak of, and also the damage. Those universals are only capa...

The lay shaft is 5mm bore, most pulleys are 4mm center bore. MST will be announcing new CS pulleys soon, my guess would be later this month, so just be patient....

Re: Yokomo MR4TC SD SSG 2.52CS

Yes the current steering modification is quite crude
but does get the job done.

This chassis is quite old and the hinge pins are sized different from any other chassis I own
This is my only Yokomo chassis I own and definitely one of the first
It is still very much fun to drive

62 pitch? Thanks for the insight about the xray, have never dealt with them before. And yes the spur should always been plug and play without any off-center mods.... could post a problem :D
