Wouldn't say so. Drift is generating already 70% of Yokomos turnover.

Re: Active Hobby Front Motor Conversion

Looks nice ;)
Put out my one way and CVD bones yesterday because I'll go RWD with this chassis.
High CS is quite controllable - had mine also with CS 2.2 and it was easy as my DIB with 1.5 :)

Re: Holding More Steering Angle

Well I'm pretty sure there are more than just one chance circuit. It seems to be a franchise. The one I go to is on the second floor of a grocery store. Ill probably not o there too often since I found Noah Speedway...elevation changes, different routes, and scenery. Makes the whole thing twice as ...

Re: Active Hobby Frontmotor Conversion for TA06

I'm interested in your Kazama C-Hubs. Are these the ones you have? http://banzaihobby.com/KazamaAuto01061001S I'm confused because these say they are 1deg, but your caster is 13 degrees. Also, do these c-hubs provide more steering angel? Sorry for late reply - I got these --> http://banzaihobby.com...

Re: Active Hobby Frontmotor Conversion for TA06

Looks great, but for the sake of nitpicking. The CS rate is 2.05 which means 105% 1 : 2.05 ratio might happen, that I change my CS ratio, depending on track layout  for nitpicking: I call it CS 2.05, I couldn't find a standard which is telling me in which form I've to declare my CS ratio

Re: Active Hobby Frontmotor Conversion for TA06

Short answer:
- for competition TA06 with hopups and CS1.2 to 1.6
- for style and high angle TA06 frontmotor conversion with CS 1.8 to 2.1

that's how I personaly use my chassis ;)

Re: Active Hobby Frontmotor Conversion for TA06

Hi Automatix and Davis! Why do you both want to do the conversion to your TA-06? I thought the TA-06 is great with the rear motor position and better then the White Wolf? I'm not sure what my next chassis could be, MST FS-01D or a TA-06 with this conversion kit. Still have my TA06 and love it, I go...

Re: Active Rear Link Suspension Kit, any good?

Some findings after todays short outdoor session: Even though the tires are shaped pretty conical by now, the chassis still has tons of grip on the rear axle. Actually too much, since even with 2.0CS I hardly have to countersteer. (I do of course, but it doesn´t feel that extreme and consistent as ...

How can you make the cs ratio higher use another belts and pulleys :P but I prefer to stay with the ratio between 1.3 and 1.65 as I use the TA06 for competitions. For crazy angle I use my Active Hobby conversion for TA06 ;) keep tuning... http://www.abload.de/img/automatixtqs9f.jpg

don't worry, the blue pulley is already on it's way :D steering assembly is from the kit - one of the best steering geometry I had so far. Forget r2hobbies. Not worth the bucks. You get what you pay for. Still have the Neo Zeon - works fine with CS kit from Alex Racing. 10/39 gives you about CS1.6 and needs less modifications than the Yokomo CS gears. --> http://banzaihobby.com/index.php?main_page=product_info&cPath=18_314_548&...

Re: DIB or DRB?

If it's between VDF and DIB I would go for the Yokomo. Had a VDF and a DRB and spent a hell of money to get the VDF were I wanted it (Bulkheads, better steering, Active hobby chassis with more flex to get better mechanical grip). In my point of view the chassis layout of the VDF is to stiff if you p...

I've been watching this car for some time, it seems to perform really well. Does the rear motor weight overthrows from time to time? <3 those Overdose hop ups. :P Love Overdose too  Compared to VDF & DRB the weight distribution is almost the same - I have about 50/50%. My friends VDF has 52...
