Re: DRB Rear Belt problem

Sorry if i'm not very clear, englisch isn't my home language  I think I know why I could do what I have done. I have the normal DRB and bought the HYPER motormount later. I will now talk about the both tensioners of the rear belt. I call them the upper and lower front tensioners of the rear-be...

Re: DRB Rear Belt problem

Some question came to my mind when I look very close at your pictures. How did you mount the lower front tensioner form the rear belt. screw, 2 shims, 3 bearings, 2 shims, lock-nut In my DRB package there was an update in a lose bag. But My DRB was the Blue/Black limited. And I addes the HYPER motor...

Yeah indeed, I also asume that would be the only option left. But actually I don't think thats fear. Its an expensive chassis. And that I don't want to buy parts witch are coverd under waranty of Yokomo. I would buy some hop-up instead :Shh: Is there maybe some hear who read Japan, and can tell me w...

Hi there, Sorry for the bump of this topic, but tought it would be better to join al the DRB information. The problem I have is that I got my DRB it had the wrong Diff-rings inside the kit. I mean those rings witch are off-center and where you can adjust the belt tension with. The problem is that mi...

Very nice conversion  Any idea why they make al that extra holes in the plates. I see you can move you battery tray a little bit forward/backward and they support the Yokomo rear belt stabalizer on the top deck. But what are thos holes arround the suspension mounts for? It has 6 extra holes both...

Re: Yokomo DRB Build Thread - Serious 56k Warning-LOTS of pics!

Thanks man  , Great info on that. How are the DRB Stock springs compared to the Swift gold? Because I think they equip the DRB with relative hard springs. And I drive Swift Gold and Blauw (super soft and soft) on my LCG Driftmaster. I also drove with my frends VDF. Really liked that. But the VDF...

Re: One way shaft? or diff? And why.

It's all about personal favour. Some love the one-way and others hate them. But ther is a differencen between the one-way dif and one-way shaft. One-way dif: On throttle it acts like and solid axle Off throttle both wheel free-wheel. (like an very loose ball dif. One-way shaft: Here you can put in f...

What are those 4door Trueno you see with flop lights?

That is the flat green en shining brown one. Yokomo only makes the droop without flop lights.

Anyone who know who makes them?

Thanks

Re: Yokomo Shock Build Questions

The shaft should be in his lowest position. So the most of the shaft is out the shock body when filling and closing the shockbody. When you now compress it, it should decompress itself because the room the shock need inside makes some pressure. Even without spring it should decompres. You also can l...

Re: Yokomo Shock Build Questions

Yes, place that black foam on top of the bladder. In the instructions with my Yokomo 1,5 gear I read a tip that apply more rebound would make counter steer car make more stable. That is what the foam is used for. You create that rebound by filling your shock with oil to the top. Please the piston in...
