Re: HB Cyclone TC-FD CS 1.63, new pulleys to come...

Ive driven a TC-FD with similar front suspension setup with only cs1.5 very stable, but to stable for my likings. Clean chassis btw.

Re: TC-FD one way

I run the TCX multi diff on my TCFD, using Team Suzuki high angle swing shafts up front for better steering and less chatter. DCJ's won't last long for CS setup. Its also hard to find rebuild kits for them as well.

I run 3mm rear kick up with 0 degree rear toe block and 2.0 gearing. My car is too stable to drive :)

Re: TC-FD steering mods WIP

I broke my steering rack :( but modified it to fit with the stock steering system...... I guess drilling the holes bigger for the flange bearing to fit thinned out the integrity.

Re: Cyclone pulleys

team associated tc5 40t front ball diff pulley, and HPI sprint 2 32t pulley for spool. Order some 3racing center pulleys, 14t and 20t Stock belts should get you by, but I suggest using a 60t belt for the rear.

Re: TC-FD steering mods WIP

Its cutting it pretty close having the holes drilled out for the bearing. I did resealed the edges for insurance, so far they are holding up and I try as much to avoid crashing into a wall at full steering lock.

Re: TC-FD steering mods WIP

Here's mine with only hpi 6 degree c-hubs. Waiting for my jet racing 8 degree to come in. I drilled out the holes to mount the steering rack and installed the flange bearings too. Re: Denis's custom TB Evolution IV IFS. DIY project.

Nice job on the build. Must be a really stiff chassis, I must be scared crashing that hard into a wall. Anyways, looking forward to see more progress.

Re: Rounded vs flat?

^ Pretty much no matter how much your camber setup. The tires will eventually where back down to 0 degrees. Then you would start noticing your car's handling changes significantly.

Re: TT-01 Staszek Dorifto Factory (SDF)

Nice Build! I was in the same boat with you about the tt-01. You can sink all the funds into it, and by the time your done, its still a tt-01 but an awesome one.
