Re: Drifting at Waru Circuit

I did make it out, and it was amazing. Wish I had more time to go more than once. The long straight manji was just perfect with my setup - felt telepathic on that section and winding back into the tight section. For anyone else that visits, be sure to take your shoes off at the door - I would have m...

Re: brushless soldering

- tin iron tip (load enough solder to transfer to part) - touch for about 3 sec to transfer solder to part A - clean iron tip and redo process for part B - both parts a tinned, iron is clean again - position part A and B to how you want it and heat til both parts join if I'm reading this correctly,...

Re: brushless soldering

There's some good youtube videos on the subject. But here's my tips (gleaned from those videos); 1. get a brass tip cleaner - removes oxidation and promotes proper heat transfer. Radio shack has them for $10 including a nice desk holder and box to keep it free from contaminants. 2. always tin the ir...

Are the windows on this body clear? It seems many of the Pandora glamor shots show a frosted type window (guessing it's due to the material they use)... Looks nice, the sparkle in the paint is awesome!

one10drift.com presents VIAS 2013! Vancouver BC, March 29-31

Cancelled! VIAS show organizers ran out of space this year, and the club couldn't garuantee we wouldn't destroy their carpet over 3 days of epic sliding.

Sorry to anyone who made plans to attend...

Nice clean wiring. How do you like the swing out ESC piece? I'm thinking of getting one of these (or the soon to be released DIB ver.RS) for a RWD/2nd chassis.

bump for more driving impression updates.. how is tire wear on this? I drive mostly polished concrete, medium size track with 1 long sweeper -- seems like it might be good there?

Re: "The devil drift" r2chassis

Seems that much is copied off the FM16 by Eagle Racing, which in turn is built of the OTA-R31. I *think* most 16fm stuff will fit and in turn many r31 parts (steering linkage, arms) are a direct fit as well. can someone post video of one running on a work stand? I want to hear the drivetrain and see...

Re: what connectors to use?

If you've got the removable bullet plugs, you can also just solder bullet plugs to the ESC power wires. I keep meaning to do this to mine, should look a lot cleaner. If you're new to soldering, try soldering spare speaker wire/copper electrical wire to each other to get the hang of it. And youtube v...
