Re: when will we get a real chassis?
The thing is companies also have guys that test different ideas and see what works. You really think they won't make cause they choose not to? Because if this idea made sense to them they would. In the end companies are about making money and if this made them money they would. Also if this idea was...

Re: when will we get a real chassis?
I don't know if you tried the mst fs but it has more than one battery placement. And if you think the battery weighs more than the motor esc and the front bulkhead that holds all. My FS is more front heavy and if you see the rwd videos for rc front bias is the choice to get this.

Re: mst
I had mine about a year until I sold it cause I for the FS. There sick chassis no issues at all. You tune it right and its like butter to drift. Even out of the box is smooth. You won't be sorry you got one.

Yeah that works too it's how soft you like your ride. As long you go a littl stiffer shocks in the front will make a world of difference.

Re: OMG OMG R31-16m FRONT MOTOR CHASSIS!!!!!
I wanted to share this one thing you might want to get is a hard spring for the front. I have the MST FS and it comes with hard front springs. The weight of the motor so close to the shocks that with the hard springs the front still feels soft. Just FYI

With the steering I can say that a fellow teammate measured his MS-01D Pro and he gets over 55 degrees of angle. The CVD are deigned for 60 degrees

That's good knowing too much is a down fall of some people. Over thinking something if it works why would you change it. I seen guys have chassis so smooth from some of the hardest chassis to control. Then he play with more and mess it up.

Re: drifting.... harder than it looks.
I agree 100% you have to find your setting you like. You can listen to others but in the end of the day it's what you like. Everyone has there opionion and it works for them. The big thing in CS is finding the right setup to you chassis that works for you. I tried chassis that I couldn't get to arou...

They will charge premium price look at all the bling. Tamiya bling isn't cheap. It does look simpler than the vdf the third pulley by the spur looks like an after thought. I still dont like the single top bracing.

Re: Tamiya TA05-VDF2
The thing I don't like is how complicated the design is. R31 has 3 belts and it's a hell of a lot simple design. It's not like all the extra stuff will make it better. I think they just like to have lots of parts so they can sell u bling parts. I have the vdf and I love it but even that is a little ...

You can get a plastic pulley for the rear spool and just match the holes or mod the holes yourself

Just change the rear pulley on spool and you will get more CS. You might need to get a new belt.

Re: whats a good quick servo?
http://www.bphobbies.com/view.asp?id=A3688086 here is a place that sells them in the US. I was told by a fellow drifter part of the reason some of the bluebirds were dying isn't because of it being a crappy servo. That most of the bluebird servos are made mainly for planes and some of the servos mos...

Re: good starter chassis for cs without modding
I prefer belt driven chassis they are a lot easier to use especially changing gears. I have two tamiya vdf and MST ms-01d. Both are great the MST comes with everything you need to CS put 80%. The vdf is easy to CS also just have to order the kits for it. The spare parts prob I have the same prob and...

Re: overdose wide angle shafts?
Aren't the Square Wide angle shafts pretty much exactly the same? Don't think prices differ very much either :) I wouldn't suggest the square ones me and few people I know got them and had issues with them. They all broke within weeks of I stalling them. So be careful with them. I run them at almos...

Re: New to CSing and my car doesn't want to turn
well good luck. I hope it all works out. Your crazy man (I mean it in a good way). Just learn how to tune it up and that should help. Even the 1:1 drifters don't run a car that isn't tuned to there liking. You may able to do it but being able to and doing it right isn't the same thing. I'm able to d...

Re: New to CSing and my car doesn't want to turn
I'm confused but have you ever driven a CS chassis before? I started drifting CS most from the beginning no real 50/50 drifting. I started with 50% CS and it was hard. If you havnt before I'd say the CS% is way too high for someone who hasnt figured out the tuning part of it. I learned its tuning th...

Yeah like murdock said its pretty sick. I have a VDF and MST it took most of the summer to get the VDF tunned right. The MST was pretty much ready to go after it was built. This is a drift chassis so it will perform like one.

Re: Official Max Speed Tech MS-01D Pro Build and Resource Thread
The parts are hard to get but it's getting better. All speed hobby has parts for it you call them or email them. Also the spice chassis parts fit this chassis and it's sold on banzai hobby. Oh and eBay sells parts for it too. It's a great chassis not many chassis are CS ready out of the box.

MST VIP version comes with every alloy option available except front motor mount. MST is coming out with a new chassis so you might what to look into that too.
