Re: DRB copy?

"Front and rear metal hydraulic anti-vibration" So that would be the chunk of metal on the CVDs? I've seen this design before, just though it interesting its coming back. yeah if you look at the new suzuki high angle cvds, they have a balance weight on the middle of the shaft. this plasti...

Re: TA05 V2 IFS Belt Chatter

if it's doing it when the wheels are turned, are you sure it is not the CVDs or any of the other moving components? Are the little plastic bearing holder pieces that are placed on the differential placed exactly the same? you shouldnt be at max tightness unless completely necessary. Also, is there a...

I use the airtronics/sanwa mt-4, it's a great radio and i highly recommend it. It's very easy to use and feels comfortable in my hand. the radio should come with two different grips (1 standard, and 1 thicker one) so you can adjust the feeling of the radio in your hand. all i feel the radio really l...

forgot to mention...unbolt the motor or unmesh the pinion and spur gear and see if it could just be your gear mesh.

Re: unsmooth drivetrain?

double check the tension of your belts, check the bearings, and check any moving parts for binding. if you're using plastic hexes, your wheels could be overtightened.

you can always program your speedcontrol to have dragbrake..most "programmable" speedcontrols like the hobbywing XERUN series allow dragbrake adjustment.

Re: destroyed cups of axle and one way

you have a few choices: 1) get outdrives that utilize plastic cvd blades. generally they will be outdrives with the slots cut bigger. you then use a plastic C shaped piece on your cvd bone to reduce wear. 2) get hardened steel outdrives (if possible) 3) get new outdrives and heat treat/harden and te...

Re: drift package cvd help please

Not CS Approved - Doesn't give more angle better off getting high angle CVD's. Yok DP's use 6x10 bearing for their cvd's so the cyc ones won't fit. Which drift package do you have? Type C or Type B? I don't know about the Spec-Rs, but the HB DCJs are definitely NOT CS APPROVED. i've broken two.

Re: What should my CS FDR be? Details inside.

Tokeyo83 has a good point. If you are noticing high temps in a short period of run time then there is something wrong. In my opinion, shoot for what fits you. Target what will give you optimal performance yet balance it with whatever amount of time you would like to run. For example, if you want to ...

I put in a 86spur and I have about 1mm clearance to the motor mount fins. I went down to a 20pinion. M...

Re: New to CS and Gearing......Help Before I fry my motor!!!!

I got my numbers from gearchart.com, it asks for a transmission ratio.......would I put 1.8 in there? Most RC cars are 1.8 - 2.1 tranny ratio. I just realize the main issue with your heating issues. It's Castle Creations. My first BL system was a Castle Creation BL combo namly the HPI Flux. Man it ...
