Re: 3racing one way

all the "oneway" pulleys should have the big hole ~11mm Thx tamiya, but tamiya's one way/Spool pulleys don't fit to 3racing ta05 one way tube cuz the pulley's middle hole abit bigg for tamiya's pulleys...am i right?..>=/ it shouldn't matter if the hole in the middle is bigger or not...it'...

Re: HOW TO: Get More Steering Without any Steering Mods

Well the servo could strip, but I only use metal gear ones. Or if you use a plastic servo horn, that can snap. If you're using an alloy horn then that would bend. It's useful as you can reach maximum lock. Then you can tone down the EPA so the servo only needs to move to the maximum steering angle....

Re: 58492 Tamiya TA06 PRO

From what I can see, the design looks almost like they combined the ta05v2 and the ff03. The rear gearbox looks similar to the one on the ff03 and so does the entire chassis layout.

Re: TC3 CS system

i suggest you just pick up another chassis that is more "CS-able" rather than CSing your TC3. not that the tc3 is not a great chassis, i used to own one, and loved it. but the problem is finding the right gears, modding them..and after that, you have to mod your steering. it's already hard...

Re: Need Center One-Way for TA05VDF

marcsg- what Tooth are you looking for specifically? i don't see why dlike pullies WOULDN'T fit, so you should be ok...but it's also a matter of having the correct shaft. If you don't have some sort of solid shaft for the oneway pulley, and use the direct shaft (i'm assuming the OEM VDF uses grub sc...

Re: How to get this color

i'd personally use more than jsut 3-5 coats of trans red. a can can do MANY coats if you know how to paint correctly. beware using the trans red and backing with black. i'd make sure the red is decent with the lame flake (enough coats & dry) before backing with black.

Re: Parallel Steering: Hot Bodies Cyclone

you might want to use the actual cyclone steering servo horn...the one you have is extremely short? a longer one should give you more throw, and maybe more steering.

also, don't run your belt ontop of your tensioner like that...its supposed to go under it. lol

other than that, looks pretty good. gj

Re: Front one way or ball diff for the front

i liked the ball diff because of stability..but once i switched to the oneway, i am never going back. the car is able to transition much faster, and to keep it all under control, it just takes a good setup and practice.

Re: Countersteer Gearing Options for Yokomo SD Chassis

I think I could get so much more out of my setup if I tuned the radio (DX3-S). I am not 100% confident/certain of what I'm doing when changing the settings with it. I need much more low end response. I'm getting quite a bit of heat from my spur/pinion. Being that they are the bits that came with th...

@spring ninjai'm not sure if you're talkin about the graphite chassis...or the CF chassis. but if you are talkin about the CF chassis conversions..more "show than go" is not true...CF chassis can greatly stiffen up your chassis, and allow less flex. also, the overall weight of the car is l...

Re: FRONT ONE WAY FOR CS

Seems like a loose front dif, can work, but it has crazy understeer off-throttle. If you can work around it, it might be good. In general, a one way diff and locked diff are easier to work with, since there is no adjustment. Makes things simpler i agree with sil40sx, but here is my .02 added on: i ...
