+1

But I'm looking for 64p Spur gear. Can't stand the noise of a 48p.

I believe they all fit, as long as you have the right pinion. - Spurs are pretty much standardized. - Tamiya and the EagleRacing ones fit for sure.

How about kawada spurs? I know that kimbrough spur fit, are they the same size?

I believe spur gears are standardized in center bore. If you stick with 48DP or 64DP then the center holes should fit most spur gear holders. What you really need to watch out for is the size of the spur gear itself, just make sure you get one that fits on your chassis without any interference to other parts.

My Xray 62p has a small inner diameter hole, so they'd fit with some modding.. I'm holding out to find a plug and play solution. Been there, done that, I want 100% centered spur/pulleys now. :)

62 pitch? Thanks for the insight about the xray, have never dealt with them before. And yes the spur should always been plug and play without any off-center mods.... could post a problem :D

R31 spur holder will fit any 48P or 64P spur gear. the think to watch out for is the spacing you have clearing the steering assembly. Im running 48P(96T) and its a close fit. If you go into 64P you might want to see if a friend has a 100T - I dont think they will fit. I know a 105T(64P) WONT fit.

If you run ONLY indoor then yes 64P is very good........ but if you run outside at ANY time. stay with the 48P..
one tiny pebble can eat a 64P spur for snack..

I am running a 116T Spur (from Eagle Racing) with no problems at all. ... even a 128T fits, only it might rub on the bodyshell, not on the steering assembly. ....
