hey guys I've just got myself a version 2 TA-05 and I would like to go CS
I was wondering if I go with,
37t / 16t front with a version one belt & 22t / 30t rear with a version one belt I get a ratio of 1:1.7
37t / 18t front with a version two belt & 22t / 30t rear with the version one belt I get a ratio of 1:1.51
I'm very happy with those ratios if i can get them

is this all I need apart from the belts and 37t, 18t and 16t parts that I already have
my main question is will the belts fit and the parts listed work?
thanks in advance for any help

Re: TA-05 Ver II
What I do for belt length and seems to work fairly well when changing the ratio, lets say you start out with 36/18 and you are going to 40/16. You simply look at how many teeth you are adding/subatracting to you drive system, with this example you add 4 to the front but are taking away 2 from the middle. So that means you would ideally want a belt that is 2 teeth longer but sometimes you can only get belts in length by mm so for every tooth you add/subtract it's 3mm. So you would want a belt that is a total of 6mm longer for this example. Also if your stock setup has some slack in it you can always just try to use that belt and adjust your tension via the cam tensioner on the diffs. This is what I have always done and it works for me.

Re: TA-05 Ver II
i have this chassis and even with the 1.98 its still really easy to drive. i'd say go with that first. i got a bigger pulley to raise the cs level for a more realistic look.
