I couldn't sit through it, anime is miles better. The whole idea of car's aura and character was dumbed down to Fast&Furious level in the movie.

Yea, i remember watching this a few years back and couldn't stand it, especially since I watched the anime first. Live action adaptations of anime are typically unbearable to watch for me lol.

I sat and watched every single anime episode before watching this movie so I was disappointed but it was still cool. It was right on par with the Initial D live action movie with inaccuracies and being dumbed down though.

having never known of this till now. i loved the movie. even tho i had to read the whole thing. i might have to look up the anime if it is turly that much better. great post nontheless, thanks.
