Hi,

I wonder if anyone can help me with the setup / tuning for my CS'd Sakura Zero S.

For some background, below is my settings now:

Motor & ESC:4300Kv 8.5T / Hobbywing 60A Waterproof

This is my 1st foray into CS Drifting, coming from Touring Cars.
I am wondering what I should be aiming for when tuning a CS Drift chassis.

For example, for TCs I'm tuning for a particular track layout. I know how what kind of driving feel I want for my car and tune it based on that.

Now for a CS chassis, I am shooting blind. I have no idea how a well tuned car should handle and what kind of driving feel I should be aiming for.
How much throttle should the tail kick out, how much throttle should the drift angle hold. What amount of steering lock should have what amount of front end pull.

Can someone point me in the right direction?
Not sure if I am making any sense on this. :oops:

CS drifting will be comfoletely different way of driving than grip/touring racing. For one, you probably already figured out that you don't need nearly as much power. I would turn down the EPA on your throttle a lot and if your remote has Expo, I would turn that up so that your throttle inputs aren't so abrupt. You will want more gradual, smooth inputs. And countersteer a lot to go the direction you want to go to. The angle of your steermg and chassis in relation to your driving is really up to how you end up with your own driving style. Of course a sharper angle looks better/more dramatic. In the end, its going to be lots of practice, practice, and even more practice.
