Grease in rear diff

Postby NW Drift » Sat Sep 22, 2012 11:04 pm

The little black plastic gear in my HPI E10 is getting worn and starts slipping so my car turns into FWD. I am going to replace the gear but the existing grease in the rear diff is broken down pretty bad so I will be cleaning out the old stuff and putting in some new grease. What grease do you guys recommend I use?

Clean out as much as you can as and little bits of the plastic left will make the new gears chew themselves up too. You only need a very very light film of grease and anymore will make them slip.
