Okay so I tryed cleaning with the rubbing alcahole method several times now but I'm still having an issue with one of the bearings slipping it's into mutant (on and off) like at low throttle it just slips till you give it everything (tends to snap a cvd as soon as it grips again
Iv tryed several differant out drives and there all new and fine they do the same thing
Anyone have any idea I can try out next?
Also I even have it a dry run with no lube after cleaning appeared to work right for a few mins then went back to doing this again
One way issues

Re: One way issues
Does it snap the cvds on both sides or just one? Maybe check the bearings on the knuckles, your cvds shouldn't snap so easily when the oneway grips/engages.

Re: One way issues
Just the one side and the outdrive slips until you give it full throttle pretty much I think the one way bearing might be faulty as it's had dramas since the 2nd time using it
