TA-05 VDF CS Suggestions

Postby D63 » Mon Oct 11, 2010 3:54 pm

Hey guys I'm new to the forum and CS. I have been running my VDF for a few months now at 50/50 but would like to convert it to CS. Right now I have a 16t/22t pulley and a 37 and 32 t gear set for my drive. I ordered the TA-05 Counter pulley set too. Is this a good starting point? Please I am open to all suggestions as to which way to go on this. Thanks

The easiest way to go is to use aluminium centre pulleys made by speedway pal, square, d-like etc with a 3.9 - 4mm bore, the smallest is around 13t and the biggest u can fit on the vdf is 22T..then you just need to get a 40t pulley for the front, which should come in the kit you bought depending on which one it is, and put the 32 in the rear for big cs..

I have the 22T pulley but I don't like to use it because the belt touch the motor...
I will try to do my own pulley, 10T 12T pulley maybe...

here is my:
max front wheel speed: 28.85 km/h

great fun to drive, 100% control. and low temperature of the engine for long rides on the carpet (ab. 45 *)
