There is a pic wich show the ESC out of the chassis, I think it's needed to remove it to change battery...

This has a flip out battery situation

I thought about ordering one

I was like yes! Finally

But the spur falls back to the high position which doesn't fit a lot of bodies
Stick with my Drb and ta06 for now

Drb with a small lipo in the rear has the same balance

I think that it's ok, not higher than the front damper stays, the RE-R isn't better than this too !
But well, depend of the bodies because PORSHE has long "nose" :D

This is the only somewhat decent pic I can find of the motor mount. Getting fdr low enough for rear overdriven setup is a pain in the a**. Why does yokomo choose to overdrive rear wheels so much? All they had to do is throw on smaller front center pulley.. Looks like std size servo just may fit

I hardly know anybody who runs low slung GT type bodies, so it's not a common problem. Center layshaft is behind the motor, so even if it's a bit higher than drb, there's plenty of clearance for hoodline.

Smaller batteris may be lighter, but low capacity= low voltage= anemic power. You should be able to run 6000mah lipos in dib without worrying about weight distribution.

RX7's and Porsches might have problems with this, spur might hit the window.

Tamiya, yokomo FD rx7 and old school z all clear my old VDF, so it shouldn't be a problem. DIB layshaft is pushed more towards rear, so shouldn't even come close. Low slung bodies designed for IFS suspension should be left to touring cars. lol
