Either that FD has overdone it TOO much, or the system just makes it look rediculous. It looks like sh** on that one atleast.

Yeah I think that guy was showing how "far" a set up can go. If you look closely he damn near has to stop just to switchback!?! So that's just a demo IMO of what the suspension is capable of doing.

Indeed, broadtech is the same site as the Eagle site, but then in English and a LOT cheaper.

Thats something i noticed too, shipping is quite expensive lately, even as far as paying 15 bucks shipping for a pulley, belt and other light weight stuff..

plan ahead & buy more then... usually its most efficient to add as much stuff
to 1 order as you can without knocking it into the next postage bracket

True, but if you don't need more it's kinda hard to plan ahead. They don't have everything i need and some of their stuff is impossible to find elsewhere, or it's way to expensive.

So, I just finished completing the kit. I can't express enough how bad the instructions are. I managed to snap one of the tensionors brackets which is made out of the black CF that Eagle provides. I noticed that the quality was quite poor and they managed to drill too close to the edge. Luckily, I was able to work around the issue and super glue the pieces together and fasten the CF bracket on the flatter side. Also, I had noticed that this is not a direct conversion and requires you to use the longer ball end connector(something I'm not used to.) I believe MST FS01D has the same damper setup if I remember right, so I took that idea and it worked great.

Another disappointing factor is the adjust-ability of the damper position. The fronts are limited by the Spur and also the steering angle that this car generates. The rear has a lot more freedom to adjust but generally I like my dampers straight up. So currently I have both my dampers stood straight up.

Anyways, out of the box CS setting ~53% is really controllable and fun to drive. Do note that I use D-Like MSF springs all the way around and only adjust the springs by preload thus far. I'm still trying to figure out how to put on the stealth body mounts the chassis. I just wanted to report back on my findings. Once I get the mounts on and body, I'll be able to tune this.

I noticed that the quality was quite poor and they managed to drill too close to the edge. I don't feel that way at about this chassis. I think it's way better R2HOBBIES stuff IMO. I'll snap a picture and draw a diagram when I get a chance.

I agree EA is a bit better than R2. But still on the lower end compared to MST, SJ, and Tamiya.
