Painting up this body for a buddy of mine (my BF Pat :lol: lmao)

damn Ulyssey back at it again! my OD aristo is chopped into pieces and going on the tamiya aristo since its longer wheel base. i did the same for the front grill as far as the housing but with lexan so i can chrome it out. stupid cast held me back on finishing it for VIP fest! lol but CANT WAIT FOR THIS TO BE DONE! Pats gonna have a sick VIP body!

Thanks again :D I was thinking of chromed accents, but then went for the flat look :twisted:

The color turned out really nice. But it´s a pity, that you pierced the hood for the bodyposts.

Rear progress:

Painted the taillights

Painted the rear buckets black then flat clear (painted it black to have a darker look behind the red)

I'm using Yok light buckets for the rear. They fit pretty well, a bit smaller than the OD lexan ones. For the front I had to hack up Yok front buckets and put it together w the stock lexan buckets from OD :twisted:

the tamiya front buckets fit pretty will without any cutting. but i do like the look of the yok buckets better. Looking good so far bro!

It was from Walmart. It's the same stuff I use for the cf look as well :D . I think it was .50 cents-ish for a yard :up:
