KRAWALL-EightySix - Subaru BRZ

Postby Takumi Fujiwara » Wed Jan 09, 2013 2:05 pm

Hi guys,
this BRZ is a x-mas present from our Japanese guest student. It's direct from Shizuoka and I want to make it look aggressive and rough.
There were ugly holes for the bodymounts (why tamiya, why must u do this all time? :x )
and so I had to cut air intakes into the hood, coz I've stealth mounts and it looks more aggressive with some intakes ^^.
And I did some other things....

Ok guys, do you know the three words "work in progress"!?
It's not finished....so you don't have to go to your doctor if you see no color ;)
---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Her comes a little update on my KRAWALL-EightySix:
Now its painted and I did some things like an intake for the turbo at the front and some grid for the intakes on the hood and the rear end.
....the sun was shining, so I took some photos on the street

UPDATE!!!

I printed with my "biomechanic printer" a windshield banner.

I think that the SSR Formula Mesh are much better for the "KRAWALL-Style" ^^

In the next few days I want to add mor details in the front to make it look more rough

....oh, and "Krawall" is the German word for ruckus ;)

Yes, I'm going to paint the light buckets in the next few days....but it's very cold outside, about -5°C
The headlights are also black tinted with Tamiya Smoke...so I don't need the light buckets at the moment ;)
I could make a clone of them and send it for your Rocket Bunny to you  ....not funny?

The Intake is made of anodized aluminium and from the cup joins of the Sakura spool.

UPDATE!!!!!!!!!

Postby Takumi Fujiwara » Sun Jan 20, 2013 9:08 am

Hi guys,
the BRZ is for 98% complete. Now with backmirrors and flat black roof.
In the south of Germany we had "blitz-ice" today. The streets were frozen and some kids used the asphalt as skating rink.
.....I used the frozen street, too for some CS-action with normal Tamiya ruber tires.
It was so cold that the water drops on the fenders freeze again. ....but we had "only" -8°C

Awesome!!! |O|
i think there's no overheat on the esc or the motor...
Here in Rio, i'ts about 20:00H summer time, @ 31°C (87°F), the tires just melt away.
BTW, beautiful model, great construction. congrats!
