Ta03F CS

Postby dharvin » Wed Apr 18, 2012 4:12 am

Hey, does anyone know if a 12T, 22T and stock belt will work on a stock Ta03f? I do not have these pulleys with me and im looking around for some. Id like to countersteer my t03f? That combination gives me around 80% but anything above 70% would be good. Also, does anyone know of places where these pullies may be easily(read: cheap :P ) available?

thanks.

FYI, 18 or 19t are the biggest pulley you can put in the front without fouling the front shock tower.

if you get the MST CS gears kit, it comes with a 11T 12T and 13T with a 5mm center bore. I have managed to CS a TA03RS to 1.66 with a 12T. Works great :)

What pulley did you use for the front?

I hope you didn't put the 12t in the front. That would underdrive the rear. I wanted to know what big pulley you used, not the small one? I already have mst pulleys for my 03f, but didnt bother fitting them on.

oh thought you were asking for CS pulley, anyways you are right, 20T in the front, 12T in the rear for 1.66. Worth CSing the TA03RS acctually, it has become quite fun :)

Thanks! :D

12T MST fits right in. 20T front was taken from old Xray T2 and mated together...

Isn't the MST pulley too slim for the belt? I've got one here, and it seems too slim.. :Silent: Original belt?
Can you send me a link from the xray T2 20T pulley?

Tamiya aramid belts are slimmer than the stock belt. Boza's belt doesn't look like tamiya tho.

The 20T is 2 Xray t2 20t pullies glued together then modified to fit the stock ta03pully holder.
The belt is a modellanhanger belt, which is same as a aramid belt.

welcome to Club TA03

you only have 2 pulleys to play with... with stock sizes 15-17T available from factory

to overdrive rear on a TA03F, you put bigger pulley at the front than rear

if front is 20 and the rear is 10... then 20/10 you've got 2.00 or 200% overdrive or CS=100%
