Yokomo DIB

Postby Blaze0303 » Tue Mar 05, 2013 7:09 pm

So I sold my D-Max and bought a Yokomo DIB, tons of people are using them here in Japan and everytime I see one it impresses me so I figured I'd get one myself. I bought a Gunmetal version.

I love Savox servos, half the price of some of the high-end Japanese servos.

Built, I'm still using my split pack batteries from my D-Max so the wiring is a little messy. I will test and tune it this weekend :D Crazy amounts of angle for a stock car.

Will post more later! Now I have to change those connectors to deans.

Took some better shots. I finally got to run it yesterday and it's amazing but tends to feel a little "light" it may need a bit of weight in the rear.

Nice clean wiring. How do you like the swing out ESC piece? I'm thinking of getting one of these (or the soon to be released DIB ver.RS) for a RWD/2nd chassis.

I like it so far, the swing out works very well, this is my 3rd Yokomo chassis and i've alway been pleased with their quality. The car is super balenced and insanely easy to drift. I've only ran once with it so I'm still trying to get the settings dialed in. I'll be running it this weekend.

I guess, split batteries give you some freedom to experiment with weight distribution

Lol not really, I used to use a Yokomo D-Max so most of my batteries are split.
