3 racing sakura d3

Postby boxhead1990 » Thu Jul 03, 2014 9:39 am

So this is the d3 I have been running mostly on carpet till iv had I falling out with the track owner over silly sh**(mostly them talking down to me over my chassis and the fact they all run at apart from a few and by the looks there trying to get rid of all non mst cars at the track it seems)

Anyways here's a few pictures

These pics are what it was like when I last run it

Use a xe run 8.5t combo

Have a bunch of upgrades on the way

Changing to active hobby lower y arms active hobby 65degree cvd's and low scrub kpi uprights

Have alloy bulkheads and things on the way and a fresh one way as one of the bearing in my current one have stopped working recently and a bunch of alloy pulleys and fresh belts to go all round

Gunna change to stainless hex screws everywhere possable and adapting a active hobby rear link kit to replace my active toe set in the rear as it doesn't make the car drive any better really

Will update as progress comes along currently have it in pieces awaiting parts arrival

So it nearly has all the alloy bits

Gunna run active hobby rear arms for the track adjustibility and change to ally rear uprights soon

Next few weeks il order active hobby low scrub uprights and adjustible cvd's and some active hobby upper arm mounts

And it's pretty much done then

Usually only a minor amount throughout the range of the throw

If you have a squiz around rwd Rc forum on Facebook there's heaps of set up tips for these
