Yokomo DIB Rear motor mod questions

Postby !ceee » Wed Feb 18, 2015 7:07 pm

Hi everyone, I've seen a couple of DIBs with motors shifted to the rear position of the chassis, and I too wanted to do that, as I have borrowed a rear motor converted DIB for a drive, and I really liked the way it handled. When I asked some of the guys who had their motor shifted to the rear, they said holes need to be drilled, but I've seen some others on the internet forums, claiming not needing to drill any holes on the chassis. :o :o So the questions are:

1. Is it really necessary to drill holes on the chassis to make this possible?
2. Besides new belts, are there any other things that I need to get this mod done?
3. Can anyone show me how to assemble it into the rear motor conversion through maybe some pictures?

Hope I can get some advice! Any help is appreciated. :D :D :D :D :D
Thanks for reading!
